→ Applies to: SynetoOS 6.0.3 and above
Ensure the following prerequisites are met before starting:
- An iSCSI target has already been added to the appliance
- At least one iSCSI disk is visible and not currently assigned to any existing pool
Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI
Step 2. From the Storage menu, click on iSCSI
Step 3. Click on Create iSCSI pool now
Step 4. Fill the pool Name
Step 5. Leave the Redundancy value set to 0, as redundancy is managed directly at the NAS level
Step 6. From the Data groups field click on the plus icon
Step 7. Choose the iSCSI drives to include in the pool, then click Add
Step 8. Review and Confirm, then click on Create
Wait to complete
