How to Expand a Storage Pool by Adding a New Disk in SynetoOS 6.1

→ Applies to: SynetoOS 6.1 and above

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 2. From the Storage menu, click on Drives

Step 3. Click on Rescan button

Step 4. Select the Unused disk

Step 5. From the Storage menu, click on Pools

Step 6. Select the pool, then click on Structure and Expand

Step 7. Click on Add button

Step 8. Select the Unused disk, then click on Add

Step 9. Click on Expand

Wait for the operation to finish.
