Ensure the following prerequisites are met before starting:

– Working Internet connection
– VMware ESXi IP address correctly configured
– Available IP address to be assigned to SynetoOS

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 2. Click Start

Step 3. Accept end user license agreement and click on Next

Step 4. Configure Network and click on Next

Step 5. Configure date and time and click on Next

Step 6. Set a password for SynetoOS Management VM and click on Next

Step 7 (optional). Check for updates (if available) and install them

Step 8. Click Finish to complete the installation process

Step 9. Wait for the system to finish installing

Step 10. Wait for the system to automatically restart

Step 11. Login to SynetoOS GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 12. After login, you will be prompted to link your system to Syneto Central platform

In case of a Syneto hardware appliance, the activation key is not required.
In case of a Syneto virtual appliance, the activation key is supplied with the purchased product.
The format of the key is: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. If this is your first purchase, you must create a new Central account.
