Ensure the following prerequisites are met before starting:

– Working Internet connection

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 2. After login, you will be prompted to link your system to Syneto Central platform

To activate a Syneto HYPER appliance previously running with SynetoOS 4 or SynetoOS 5, simply enter your Central account email and password.

For a Syneto virtual appliance, a Bare Metal installation on a non-Syneto HYPER appliance, or an ESXi installation of SynetoOS 6, please follow Step 3.

The format of the key is: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. If this is your first purchase, you must create a new Central account.

Step 3 (optional). Contact Syneto Beta Program Team to request manual activation

To activate a virtual appliance running SynetoOS 6 on ESXi, send an email to beta@syneto.eu including the Serial Number.

To activate SynetoOS 6 on a Bare Metal server, send an email to beta@syneto.eu with the following information:

• Server serial number (e.g. 82FZLQ3)
• Server manufacturer (e.g. DELL, HP, Lenovo, Supermicro)
• Server model (e.g. R450, DL380)
• Reason for the request (e.g. "This server will be used as part of the Hyperion BETA program")

Allow up to 24 hours for confirmation that the server has been registered on Syneto Central.

After confirmation from Syneto Beta Program Team, you can proceed activating SynetoOS 6 with your Central credentials.
