IMPORTANT
Replication targets configuration can only be performed between two SynetoOS 5/6 appliances and/or SynetoOS 5/6 VA.

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI

Step 2. From the Protection menu, click on Replication targets

Create a Replication Target

Step 1. Click on Add Target

Step 2. Configure the parameters and click on Add

The following options are available depending on the desired configuration:

  • Don't limit replication: All available bandwidth will be allocated to the replication process.
  • Limit replication speed: Sets the maximum transfer speed allowed during a specified time period.
  • Block replication interval: Defines a specific timeframe during which replication tasks will be suspended. (Available from version 6.0.3 and above.)
  • Encrypt transfer: When enabled, data is securely encrypted in transit between nodes.

Edit a Replication Target

Step 1. Select the replication target you want to modify and click Edit

Step 2. Modify the parameters and click on Update

Remove a Replication Target

Step 1. Select the replication target you want to remove and click Remove

Before removing the replication target, make sure it has been removed from all SLA policies. Otherwise, the remove button will not be available.
