How to Protect a VM in SynetoOS 6

Make sure to setup the correct parameters (frequency, replication and retention periods) within SLA policies, before to continue.

 

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI

https://<your_ip_address_or_hostname>

 

Step 2. From Virtualization menu, click on Virtual machines

 

Step 3. Select the VM you want to protect

 

Step 4. Click on Protect tab in the right panel

 

Step 5. Click on Schedule

 

Step 6. Configure the parameters and click Protect button
