This procedure requires a full system reboot and will erase any existing RAID configuration

Step 1. Reboot the server

Step 2. During the boot-up press F2 to enter Setup menu

Step 3. Navigate to the Advanced menu, then select your controller

Step 4. Select Set Factory Defaults

Step 5. Press enter on Confirm field, select Enabled, then click on Yes

Step 6. Navigate to the Advanced menu and select USB Configuration

Step 7. Enable Legacy USB Support

Step 8. Navigate to the Advanced menu, then select CSM Configuration

Step 9. Enable UEFI only

Step 10. Navigate to the Advanced menu, then select your controller

Step 11. Select Configure

Step 12. Select Clear Configuration

Step 13. Press enter on Confirm field, select Enabled, then click on Yes

IMPORTANT
SynetoOS requires direct disk access. Any existing RAID configuration must be removed and disks must be set to JBOD.

Step 14. Navigate to the Advanced menu, scroll down and select your controller

Step 15. Select Main Menu

Step 16. Select Controller Management

Step 17. Select Advanced Controller Properties

Step 18. Select JBOD Mode, enable it, then click on Apply Changes

Step 19. Navigate to the Save & Exit menu, then select Save Changes and Reset

Wait for the reboot to complete.
