How to Create Backup Notifications in Cloud Gate

Step 1. Login to Cove GUI

Step 2. From Management menu, click on Notifications

 

Step 3. Click on Add notification


Step 4. Fill in the Notification Details fields, then click on Save

Main fields

  • Notification name: name of the notification.
  • Customer: customer the notification is associated with.

Notification rule

  • Customers: receive notifications for all customers’ devices or just selected ones.
  • Device type: devices to monitor (servers, workstations, Microsoft 365).
  • Backup status: trigger notifications when Failed or Completed with errors.

Email delivery

  • Internal recipients: internal users with a registered account in the console.
  • Subject: email subject with dynamic variables ({{ Customer name }}, {{ Device name }}).

Final options

  • Notification is active: enable or disable the notification.
