Starting with SynetoOS 4.3, the installer detects that we are running a nested virtualization scenario and will create a root pool of only 4GB.
While this is sufficient to store a version of SynetoOS, upgrading to a version that has been heavily modified fails. This happens when trying to upgrade from 4.3 or 4.4 to a higher version of 4.5.
The reason is that version 4.5 introduced a large amount of changes compared to the previous versions.
You may encounter this situation on production systems, such as Virtual DR appliances, or on customer machines that have a lot of usable space in the root pool.
