How to Make the 5.4.4 Update Available in SynetoOS 5

Symptom

In some cases, the 5.4.4 update is not visible on Syneto systems. 
This article explains how to make the update available.
 

 

Solution


Step 1. Connect to Syneto appliance via SSH as admin (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

ssh admin@<your_ip_address_or_hostname>

 

Step 2. Become Super User

sudo su

 

Step 3. Delete related application-based pods instances

kubectl delete pod -l app=mercurio

 

Step 4. Update SynetoOS ("How to Update SynetoOS 5")
