In SynetoOS 6, recovery points replication for protected VM is managed through SLA policies. To replicate to a secondary SynetoOS 6 system, a SLA policy must be configured. SLA policy rules can include multiple replication targets.

IMPORTANT: before configuring a SLA policy with replication, add a replication target.

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI

Step 2. From Protection menu, click on Replication targets

Step 3. Select the SLA policy you want to modify and click Edit

Step 4. The secondary SynetoOS 6 system for replication must be selected in the “On replication target” column.

Step 5. Click the button Update

The SLA policy is now configured. It will replicate recovery points to the destination of your choice when the next protection task is performed.
