This process allows VMs on an external VMware ESXi host to be imported into the VMware ESXi managed by Syneto.

Import requires downtime.

Step 1. Login to SynetoOS GUI

https://<your_ip_address_or_hostname>

Step 2. From Virtualization menu, click on Hypervisors

Step 3. Click on Add hypervisor button

Step 4. Fill in the required fields to add an external VMware ESXi hypervisor and click the Add button

Step 5. From Virtualization menu, click on Virtual machines

Step 6. Select the VM you want to import

Step 7. In the top right corner, click on the three dots and then on Import

Step 8. Click on Next button

Step 9. Click on Next button

Step 10. Check the entire configuration and click on Import
