Symptom

During the deployment of Syneto customized VMware ESXi update, you might encounter the following error (insufficient Swap size):

[InstallationError]
[Errno 28] No space left on device
      vibs = VMware_locker_tools-light_11.1.1.16303738-16701467
Please refer to the log file for more details.

Solution

Step 1. Login to VMware ESXi GUI

Step 2. Navigate to System Swap settings

Step 3. Assign a local datastore

Step 4. Try installing the VMware ESXi update again
