Step 1. Login to VMware ESXi GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 2. Shut down and unregister all VMs

Step 3. Click on Networking in the left menu

Step 4. Click on VMkernel Nics

Step 5. Click on vmk0

Step 6. Click on Edit settings

Step 7. Expand IPv4 settings and select Static Configuration

Step 8. Edit Address and Subnet mask and click on Save
