Step 1. Login to VMware ESXi GUI (replace <your_ip_address_or_hostname> with the correct ip/hostname)

Step 2. Click on Networking in the left menu

Step 3. Click on TCP/IP stacks

Step 4. Click on Default TCP/IP stack

Step 5. Click on Edit settings

Step 6. Click on Manually configure the settings for this TCP/IP stack

Step 7. Edit the DNS and gateway configuration and click on Save
