Step 1. Login to VMware ESXi GUI

Step 2. Access Users page (Manage menu, Security & users tab)

Step 3. Add a new user

• Click Add user button

• Create a new user name in the format syn-xxxxxxxx (8 numbers of your choice)
• Provide a description
• Choose and confirm password

• The new user is now shown in the list

Step 4. Assign permissions to the new user (Host menu, Actions tab, Permissions option)

• Click Add user button

• Select  your new user, choose Administrator role and Propagate to all children option

• The new user is now shown in the list with Administrator role
