Cloud backup

Also known as online backup or remote backup, cloud backup is a strategy for sending a copy of your data to a remote location, for preservation in case of equipment failure, site catastrophe or human malfeasance.

Situations such as environmental disasters or malicious activities carried out intentionally from within, require in fact a level of protection outside the headquarters.

Keeping a further copy of your data on a secondary location outside your organization, allows therefore companies to be able to add the definitive piece in terms of security.

All support plans are entitled to require the optional activation of the Cloud Gate service, to be able to perform a copy of your data in the cloud, in a repository hosted directly within the Syneto datacenter.

The Cloud Gate service can be configured directly from the SynetoOS interface, through which it's possible to customize backups, schedule intervals and instantly restore your data in case of need.
